Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze - Track 604001

This painting celebrates Jimi Hendrix’s legendary song ‘Purple Haze’. Hendrix was one of rock’s greatest guitarists, highly influential during the 1960s. This artwork includes a number of obvious, as well as hidden symbols, such as a burning guitar (recalling his famous stage antic), the first guitar notes of the song, and red clouds in the shape of lips (‘excuse me while I kiss the sky’).
